Brewnanza 2025: What I’m Most Excited About This Year
For craft beer aficionados in Singapore, the Brewnanza craft beer festival organised by Brewlander had the best craft beer festivals locally in recent memory. One of my favourite things to do in Singapore is back for 2025, and this is what I’m looking forward to the most!
Brewnanza 2025 still takes place indoors
This year, Singapores largest craft beer festival returns to Marina Bay Sands, and not the outdoor event space of 2023. Sure, we had a killer view, but it can get unbearably hot in the day–and who wants warm beer diluted with rainwater or sweat?
2025’s edition takes up Hall C of the Sands Expo & Convention Center on the ground floor. It will continue to provide a much more comfortable experience where you can keep your shoes dry and the beer cool.

The downside to the indoor format is that sound reverberates around the hall and it’s hard to hear yourself think, let alone speak, over live music, especially during the very first set of the event. The volume levels should get sorted early like they were last year. It’s also impossible to tell how quickly time passes in there, and with the festival will also stay open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, you might miss the last train!
New Breweries for 2025
This year, there are several breweries from the United States that are new to the lineup and have not been seen on tap in Singapore, including:
- Side Project Brewing
- Fremont Brewing
- Destihl Brewing
- Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers
- Heavy Riff
I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we get their most sought-after beers, but I see it as a chance to try the beers from these breweries that slip under the radar and aren’t being shared among friends.
Beers from Teenage Brewing and West Coast Brewing (Japan) and Revenant (Finland) are already on the market but this will be their local festival debut here.
Returning Breweries at Brewnanza
Among the breweries making a return, we have Japanese brewery Uchu, Sudden Death from Germany, Rocky Ridge from Australia. Between Thailand’s Samata, Australia’s One Drop and Scotland’s Vault City, there should be enough fruited smoothie-style beers to go around. Local breweries are well-represented in the form of Brewlander (the organisers), Alive, Lion Brewery and Ren Min.

Other Food & Drinks
There are also cocktails from Draftland (Taiwan) and hard seltzers from Jiggy in case you want to mix things up, and food in the form of Burnt Ends Bakery pastries, Middle Eastern from Miznon, Meow BBQ, tacos from Papi’s, Southern food from Ziggy Zaggy, Indian food from Samy’s and more.
