80+ Delivery & Takeaway Channels for Craft Beer During the Circuit Breaker and Heightened Alert in Singapore
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a tough time for craft beer purveyors in Singapore. We went from a shutdown of bar licensees on 27 March 2020 to a ban on dining-in on 7 April 2020, which returned on 16 May and 22 July 2021 with Phase 2 (Heightened Alert). However, there are still ways to obtain craft beer during the “circuit breaker” (v 2.0 beta, if you like) and support your favourite establishments–at least the ones that are still in operation.
I’ll keep the details here basic and relevant to the current situation. To make things easy, you can find our favourite brewery or outlet that is offering takeout or delivery in the table below and click on the name to find out more details. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, it may be temporarily closed or not offering beer for the time being.
Unlike bubble tea, you don’t need to order food with your craft beer during the circuit breaker (for now). The option exists, though, if you need an excuse to do so. Order your next meal from one of these places to support them during these trying times.

Bottles and cans are available from the Golden Mile Food Centre stall. Bring your own growler for refills. Thursdays to Saturdays, 5-8 p.m. only for the time being.
Abundance
Pre-order and pick up food and craft beer from their website. Bottles, cans and growler fills available. Walk-in takeaway available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays to Saturdays.

The Guild

MALT Craft Beer Bar

Ren Min
Hello Ren Min at Old Airport Road sells draft in crowlers and growler fills, as well as bottles and cans. See the selection on their Untappd at https://untappd.com/v/hello-ren-min/7432633. Opening hours are Friday to Sunday, 5 to 8.30 p.m. (and also 12 to 3.30 p.m. on Saturday). Welcome Ren Min at Maxwell stays closed until 18 August 2021.
Shawn’s Beer Nest
You can get 500-ml, one- or 2-litre fills of draft beer in PET bottles or bring your own growler. Bottles and cans are also on sale; payment by PayNow only.

3 Monkeys
Their food and 640-ml bombers of Singapore craft beer (Alive, Niang, Civilization, Off Day) are available on Deliveroo, Foodpanda and Grab. They can also arrange delivery for hose outside the delivery zones with a minimum order of $50 (plus $12 delivery fee); free delivery for orders above $100.
Alchemy Bistro

BUNKERBUNKER
Check out https://www.bunkerbunker.sg for order instructions and menu. Bottled and canned beers and wines. Food comes from outlets surrounding the former Club Street store like Le Bon Funk and 8ASH. Delivery fee varies.
Burger Bar New York
Food (including the all-day breakfast) and non-alcoholic beverages are still available through Deliveroo, Foodpanda and Grab (island-wide for the latter). For booze, go to https://www.burgerbarnewyork.com/, delivery fee is $20. Everything is still available for take-out at the restaurant, like growler fills.
Canjob Taproom
Crowlers, cans and bottles available; check their UnTappd menu for their selection. Open only from Tuesday to Sunday 5 to 10.30 p.m. Free delivery in Tiong Bahru for orders above $60 and free delivery island-wide for orders above $100. Crimson by Sunbird

Malthouse

Delivery serves the eastern half of Singapore, with Bukit Batok, Clementi and Woodlands being as far west as they’ll currently go; fee varies and minimum order quantity of $20-$40 applies.

SST and Mikkeller Singapore sell their imports and 650-ml bomber bottles of draft beer through their online shop smithstreettaps.com. Same evening delivery for orders placed before 5 p.m.; orders below $99 incur a $15 shipping fee, but delivery is free above that amount.
Tap Craft Beer Bar
Food, bottles and pints in beer bags are available, as are wines and spirits. Only the Robertson Quay (11 a.m. to 930 p.m.) and 9 Penang (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.) stores will remain open daily.

Temporarily closed (or not serving craft beer during the circuit breaker)
It’s hard for everyone to sell craft beer during the circuit breaker in Singapore with fewer workers moving around and next to no tourists now. Naturally, some places have closed, including the popular ones. Here’s hoping they will be back.
